I went to a bridal shower for a friend last weekend, and it was my first Polish one. It was much more formal than the one I attended previously with about 70 people attending with a sit-down dinner in a hall. It was beautiful and a lot of fun, especially hearing special Polish songs and [...] Last year I remember feeling really sad when I found out that High Park has an informal festival when their cherry trees bloom, much like in Japan. Since I went to Japan in autumn I wasn’t able to experience hanami and after finding out that Toronto had its own version I was determined to attend [...] While in Boston my SIL took us to the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden. It was really beautiful with so many roses in bloom, plus it smelled great. It was mid day so the sun was really bright making it less than ideal for photo taking, but I managed to get a few that weren’t [...] I had been wanting to take some pictures of City Hall for a while now and I finally got my chance!
