Two must see places in Paris are Notre Dame and St. Chapelle. I think more people are familiar with Notre Dame, but in my opinion, St. Chapelle is more worthwhile. There isn’t much to say about the grounds at Marie Antoinette’s Estate. It was a nice, peaceful place to take a walk around. It did remind me of the Hollywood movie in the scenes where she is at her estate with her daughter. [...] For some reason not a lot of people made the short trek away from the main palace to visit Marie Antoinette’s Estate. I’m not sure why since it’s so beautiful and peaceful. But I guess the reason it’s so peaceful is because not a lot of people visit it. It was much easier to get [...] I was dying to see the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles. I had heard it was breathtakingly beautiful. It was, but with so many people crammed in there, some of the appeal had dissipated as soon as I walked in. I tried to get shots in but it can be really tricky [...] The grounds at the Château de Versailles are fabulous! The garden is huge and there is so much to see. There are many benches and nooks to linger in. I’m looking forward to returning there one day and enjoying the garden once again. [...] |
