Love Me Tender

My sister gave me Younha’s latest album ‘Someday’ for my birthday. It’s really good! Nothing short of Younha’s glory. I really love Younha. She’s one of the rare singers in the Korean entertainment industry that can actually sing. It’s no wonder she debuted in Japan first. I find that the mainstream Japanese music industry is more concerned about talent than about looks whereas the mainstream Korean music industry is the opposite. And in my opinion her English song “My Song And…” is MUCH better than BoA’s “Eat You Up.” Younha is a better singer too with greater vocal range and a sweeter sounding voice. Not that BoA is bad, but seriously…this is Younha.

Anyway, this album is amazing. If you want to actually buy music this is worth it.

I don’t know if this is old news but I just found out that Park Myung Soo has released two digital singles. His last musical contributions were in 2005 with his single, Tra la la, which was a cover of Gunther’s Tra la la. I was going to put up a link to the original but the video was quite pornographic. So anyway, the two new releases are called 바보에게…바보가… (Paboege… Paboga…) and Rock Factory. You can listen to them HERE and download the MV for the first song HERE. I actually like Park Myung Soo’s music. Sure he’s not musically talented in a Kim Jong Kook kind of way, but it’s entertaining. And he makes me laugh. Just to be random, here is a clip of him that always cracks me up. He’s the one wearing the shades.

[edit]I just found out from Coolsmurf that Park Myung Soo and his wife are expecting their first child. I can’t believe PMS is going to be a father. I’m so happy for him and his wife. =D [/edit]

Andy Lee (real English name is Jason Lee) from Shinhwa released his first album this month. I’m wondering if I should buy it. Andy is my favourite member from Shinhwa and I want to support him. Apparently he has a number of people featured on his album, like Chae Yeon, Byul, Amin.J (who was featured in Epik High’s song, Fly), and of course his fellow Shinhwa members. That’s pretty impressive, but who would decline the offer of being on Andy’s album. ^o^

Hwanhee/ Fany (from Fly to the Sky) is going solo by releasing his first album sometime next year. Can’t say I’m super excited about that. Hwanhee can sing, but Brian is my jewel. I was also excited to see that Brian comes on Soompi. How cool is that?! Man…what would I do if Brian read my blog. O_O! Umm…hi Brian. I wonder if Brian still has that Dog..I forget its name. Spencer? I don’t know why that name comes to mind. Anyway, here is a picture from Brian. I had to shrink it but you can see it unsquished by clicking on it.
