Eric Mun Leaves For Army Duty

After years and years of talking about serving their military service the first Shinhwa member has been enrolled in the army. It’s about time! Seriously, they have been talking about this for the past three years or so. I personally think it was just used for publicity rather than honestly announcing their intentions. So Eric is finally off and soon to follow will be Dongwan, JunJin and Minwoo. I’m not sure when/ if Andy will be going but I know that Hyesung can’t enroll because he injured his knee a few years ago. Didn’t Eric fall off the stage onto his head once? Too bad he couldn’t milk that like Hyesung to get a get-out-of-jail free card. Bye Eric! Enjoy your two-year desk job.

Polysics Concert Makeup

I’ve been wondering how I should glamour up for these upcoming concerts - mostly Polysics and Dir en Grey because who the hell cares what I look like for Jay Chou. I still need to figure out what to wear to the first two but at least I know how I will do my makeup for Polysics. I tried out a version of it last night and it looks pretty awesome.

This is a look called Chock-Ful by MAC Cosmetics. This look is part of their “Cult of Cherry” line of looks. Isn’t it fun? If you want to know what products in particular you need to create this look you can read about it here. I haven’t actually been to a concert like how the Polysics of DEG concerts will be so I’m hoping that the makeup won’t melt off my face by the end of the night. It might add to the effect though, especially for DEG. =D

I’m not sure what it is about awesome Asian artists coming to Toronto at the end of 2008, but it’s great (aside from killing my wallet). In addition to the Dir En Grey concert on November 16 and the Jay Chou concert on December 18, I am now also going to the Polysics concert on November 5. The last time they were in Toronto was in 2005. I’m so excited! I can’t believe how spoiled I am for being able to go see so many people that I love. *squee*
