HOMG! A recent English interview with Brian Joo! If I got to interview Brian I wonder what I would ask him. Actually, I wouldn’t want to interview him. I’d rather hang out with him at a coffee shop and talk to him about other things, such as faith-life, and what life is like as an Korean-American living in Korea. I’m interested in the ways people perceive the world as a Christian when they are in a marginalized or minoritized position.

But anyway, you can read about it here at Shenyuepop.com. It is really awesome that they got to have an exclusive interview with him. I much prefer reading Shenyuepop.com over Popseoul.com and I’m happy that Brian was kind enough to do an interview with him. And apparently Brian is on FB. If you type in “Brian Joo” though, there are quite a few accounts with pictures of him. I’m not sure if he made a bunch of fake accounts or they were just psycho fans doing that. =P

[edit] Btw, Brian answers why they are performing in Hawaii and not in other cities. I guess in order for them to come to Toronto we need to get sponsors and help them coordinate the concert. I wonder if Brian has ever been to Toronto…I wonder if that would also motivate him. =P [/edit]

Fly to the Sky are going to have a concert in Hawaii on Feb 9, 2008. One the one hand I’m happy that they are performing in the Western hemisphere, but I’m still annoyed that Korea singers don’t do some sort of North American touring. And how do they decide where to go? Is it based on populations of Korean-descent? [edit] Brian answered why here [/edit]

So are you a weiguk* in S. Korea, or are planning to go to S. Korea, and don’t know what cultural landmarks to hit up? Well here is Brian Joo to the rescue. This is a two part series where Brian and his weiguk* neighbour talk about things you can do in Korea. The acting makes me laugh (not necessarily because they suck at acting, but the dialogue is so awkward), but it is pretty uselful. I only posted the first episode. Hwanhee/ Fany (from Fly to the Sky) is going solo by releasing his first album sometime next year. Can’t say I’m super excited about that. Hwanhee can sing, but Brian is my jewel. I was also excited to see that Brian comes on Soompi. How cool is that?! Man…what would I do if Brian read my blog. O_O! Umm…hi Brian. I wonder if Brian still has that Dog..I forget its name. Spencer? I don’t know why that name comes to mind. Anyway, here is a picture from Brian. I had to shrink it but you can see it unsquished by clicking on it.
