Who am I?
My alias on here is Tenderly. You don’t really need to know anymore than that about me. I’m sure if you linger around long enough (and if you weren’t one of my previous readers) you will figure out things about me and classify my into your tight little boxes called categorization.
My perspective
I get tired of fangirl idiocy very quickly, so please refrain from acting stupid on this site. I intend on making more serious posts on here with the occassional fangirl squeal of my own. I don’t intend on copying all the K-pop blogs out there that go on and on about how artists, actors/actresses, models, etc. are so good looking or how they are so talented (when most of them really aren’t). I’m quite critical about a lot of things and I won’t refrain from voicing my criticism on here. I’m not here to bash people, but I definately won’t tolerate stupidity. I really don’t care if you swear on here. I’m pretty sure I will. Just don’t whore up my site with excess profanity.
Why Asian Entertainment?
Because I like it. I do not believe you need to be “Asian” to like “Asian” entertainment. Nor do I feel you have to be “Asian” to be critical of “Asian” entertainment. Cultural relativism is overrated. We are all humans, so why can’t we see each other as a big family rather than segregated into man-made categories of “race”? It is not particularily facilitating ignorance. It is recognizing that to a certain extent we are able to judge others because we are all humans.
