You actually have it all wrong. Lee So Man actually stated that he doesn't want to move his artists to the united states at this moment. His focus is NOT America, but asia and I think it's a better move than yg and jyp with min, bi and se7en. I love them, but I hate that fact that all these korean artists want to break into the US. I'm pretty sure Lee So Man knows very well that their artists especially dbsk would not appeal as much to the american fans. He's not stupid.

It's quite hard for East Asian artists to make it in North America. I remember a few years back when Utada Hikaru released a debut album in the US without any success.

There might seem to be a big fanbase for [insert band name] in North America, but making it big in the mainstream is a whole other story. It's one thing to have sell-out concerts, and it's another to have Platinum-selling albums.

i've heard this news before and i just don't like the idea of them debuting in US.

Don't get wrong here, i'm not being selfish or anything.

it's just US is done with the "boy band era"(i think) and i think it will be harder for them this time around.

not only they have to learn english but i think they also have to learn the american style of life and music.

Thanks for your comment DBSK true fan. Just a few things about your comment.

1. I was just stating my thoughts. I don't see how you are in any more of a position to state whether or not their music would be successful. I'm not saying my thoughts on this topic are better than anyone else's thoughts, but I don't see how you can claim yours is any better than mine. Are you basing it on your self-proclaimed status of a 'true dbsk fan'?

2. The music industry is not about talent alone. I agree that DBSK is very talented, but their talent alone is not going to allow them to make it in the U.S. The American music industry highly values other attributes as well, such as the ability to write one's own music. DBSK (although they sound amazing live) do not always sing live nor do they write their own music. They would be seen as mere pawns of their company, which is something that is laughed at and not respected highly in the American music industry.

3. They have not conquered all of Asia. Asia is a HUGE continent and they have only been to a very small chunk of it. South-East Asia and far-East Asia are not ALL of Asia.

I am also their fan and I will support them if they come here too. But I see the practical problems that they would face if they were to debut in their current state. That is all my point was. Thanks for your comment.

first of all you dont anything about the group enough to be saying that their music isn't the type to make it here in the u.s. i believe that they have all the talent to carry their careers into success! they have already conquered all of asia. i feel that they have a very stable fan base throughout the world and they're fans will be there to support them no matter what happens!
