6th Annual Korean Music Festival - Hollywood Bowl 2008
It’s that time again. Time for Hollywood Bowl tickets to start going on sale. And just like last year, it’s a depressing time for me because I can’t go. But I’m putting up the infor for those of you who can. Think of me when you’re there!
For anyone who doesn’t know what the Korean Music Festival is, it is an annual concert where Korean artists perform in Hollywood. It is (as far as I know) the biggest Korean concert that takes place in North America. They usually have a range of music styles for different age groups and genre lovers. They had a pretty good line-up last year. This year they are keeping the performers list top secret. I guess it’s their way to ensure that they will make as much money as possible =P. Anyway, here is some info about it.

Tickets started to be sold this past monday (Jan 21) at 10am PST and can be picked up in March-April (dates will be released later). Here is map of the seating with the prices as well as an exerpt from Shenyuepop Forum.
So I called Korea Times & they told me that this year there will be NO RESERVATIONS like the previous years. Tickets will go on sale on MONDAY JANUARY 21 @ 10:00 AM PST . The unfortunate thing is that the performers’ list will not be available. So you will be buying the ticket without knowing who’s going to come this year! There’s no backing out since the previous years allowed reservations, you were allowed to back out if you weren’t satisfied with who’s coming. I read somewhere (I can’t remember now) that Super Junior will be at Hollywood Bowl 2008 because it’s part of their Asia tour. I’m not sure how accurate that is, but if they are coming then I would be even more depressed. I missed them last year too. T_T
