double the killer delete select all

mood:
listening to: Jay Chou - All the Way North

If anyone hasn't seen the latest Microsoft "demo" you should go watch this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1123221217782777472

It's a demo of the new voice recognition software that comes with Windows Vista. The demonstrator is trying to write a letter to his mom using VR, but it goes horribly wrong. The final text reads, "Dear aunt, let's set so double the killer delete select all." XD

Finals Start!

mood:
listening to: Kangta & Vanness - Scandal (Chinese version)

Classes have ended and finals are starting soon. I only have four exams this term because ENGL 119 doesn't have one. =)

I went over to Ams' place last night. We cooked some chicken "parmesan," except there wasn't any parmesan (cuz I hate it). The sauce came out really well.

We watched a Korean movie called "Flying Boys" with Anup (who is visiting in Waterloo for a week). It was definitely not a happy movie like Ams wanted. Haha... At least the ending was happy. =P

Gonna do some hardcore studying today. Eep!

Team Excel Consultants!

mood:
listening to: Kangta & Vanness - Scandal

Team Excel Consultants was the name of my team for ENGL 119. We did our presentation today, and I think it went well.

I'm so glad that this project is (almost) done and over with. We just need to submit a peer evualtion to the instructor, then ENGL 119 is officially over!

Grad Photos

mood:
listening to: Kangta - Persona

Grace just called and told me that the proofs for my grad photos have arrived. I want to go home and look at them. Apparently they turned out nicely... which is good because I don't have to retake them.

The term is coming to an end. The final push is here!

Peach Girl

mood:
listening to: Clazziquai - Love Mode

I was over at Ams' last night. She showed me a Taiwanese drama called Peach Girl. I must say that this show has the most unrealistic characters in there. And the girls are crazy. O_O

But then, pretty much all dramas are like that. =P

Oh, and Ams thinks I look like Vanness (the Taiwanese singer that also stars in Peach Girl). I don't think I look like him. Do I? O_o

You Know You're a University Student When....

mood:
listening to: BoA - Valenti

You know you're a university student when you're in Kinko's at 2am printing off your report that's due later that day. >_>

8 Things About Ams

mood:
listening to: nothing

Ams tagged me earlier (see previous post), so I'm doing that thing now. =P

8 Things About Ams:
1. She makes that really cute face when she is sad.
2. She doesn't like me walking home late at night because she thinks something will happen.
3. She likes to do puzzles like Sudoku.
4. She thinks I'm geeky, but I don't think so.
5. She overlooks a lot of stupid things that I do.
6. She doesn't eat properly most of the time. Sometimes she would just have toast or candy for dinner. o_o
7. She is really into Korean music and shows.
8. She loves me for who I am (and not because I'm so hot.... hehe j/k =P).

Oh and Ams is a she... obviously.

Term almost finished!

mood:
listening to: Jay Chou - Black Humor

Classes end July 18th, which is very soon! I can't wait to get this term over with. It's been a pretty crappy term. I kinda knew at the beginning of this term that I might be overwhelmed with all the work. I did not expect as much work as I'm getting right now though. O_O

What a way to start the fourth year! It's so sad hearing everyone else say that fourth year is so easy while I'm sitting here doing 3-4 assignments every single week... Why oh why did choose these course? If I had a chance to redo this whole term I would have replaced English with Astronomy, Networks with DS or AI, and kept my other courses.

I guess I will just have to be more careful to not pick the wrong courses next term. =\

Sleep is for sissies

mood:
listening to: Jay Chou - Cliff of Love

I think I'm starting to live without much sleep. I couldn't go to sleep until 6 am last night. o_o;

I haven't gotten more than 6 hours of sleep for the last 3-4 weeks, and average 3-4 hours of sleep each day. I should really keep track of how big the bags under my eyes are getting.
