Last Day of November

mood:
listening to: Foo Fighters - My Hero

Today is the last day of November... and that means finals are right around the corner! My schedule is pretty crappy. (Yet again... thanks a lot Waterloo!) I have SCI 206 first, which should be very easy. The week after that I have back-to-back stats exams, and then the following week I have back-to-back CS exams. So I have really buckle down and start studying early.

I can't believe I'm going to be finished my 3B term here... just two more to go... *sigh*.

It's Freezing!

mood:
listening to: Malice Mizer - Au Revoir

It's so cold today! There is so much snow on the ground, and the wind is blowing like crazy. I swear my face is gonna fall off from walking to school.

So the last week of school is approaching... the terms just goes by faster and faster. And I realized I had taken way too many math courses over the years, so I gotta catch up on my non-math electives during my last year. >_> I don't like non-math courses.

I'm Snuffleupagus... What the?

mood:
listening to: Linkin Park - Point of Authority

Snuffleupagus
You scored 58% Organization, 46% abstract, and 66% extroverted!
This test measured 3 variables.

First, this test measured how organized you are. Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.

Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint. For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert.
By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an
extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was
somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more
about herself.

You are somewhat organized, both concrete and abstract, and both introverted and extroverted.

I bet you didn't think you were Snuffleupagus. Let's find out why.

You are both somewhat organized. You have a good
idea where you put things and you probably keep your place reasonably
clean. You aren't totally obsessed with neatness though. Alloyius
Snuffleupagus (and all Snuffleupagus') is not sloppy by nature, but he
moves so incredibly slowly that it is impossible for him to be totally
organized.

You both are about equally concrete and abstract thinkers. You have a
good balance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but
you also aren't afraid to explore your dreams and desires... within
limits of course. Snuffy generally has very basic interests, but he
explores his abstract sensitive side when he plays his snuffleflute.

You both are somewhat introverted. Originally Snuffleupagus was very
shy and was only Big Bird's invisible friend. However as he has aged he
has started to build new friendships with new characters. Like Snuffy,
you probably like to have some time to yourself. However, you do
appreciate spending time with your friends, and you aren't scared of
social situations.

The other possible characters are

Oscar the Grouch

Big Bird

Cookie Monster

Ernie

Elmo

Kermit the Frog

Grover

The Count

Guy Smiley

Bert

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback! Also if you want
to tell me your favorite Sesame Street character, I can total them up
and post them here. Perhaps your choice will win!

Two-year anniversary

mood:
listening to: Stefanie Sun - Take it slow

I haven't blogged for a while, I've been very busy lately with school.

Yesterday was the two-year anniversary of Ams and I going out. The weather was really crappy, so we didn't go too far. Originally we were going out for dinner and movie, but then we just went to a bar near Ams' place. We watched a lot of shows at Ams' place.. Gilmore Girls *shrug*.... *shrug*. =D

The weather has been really crappy this week. Lots of rain, and crazy wind. I don't even feel like going to class cuz the weather's so crappy. hehe.

So what have I been up to? OS-mania this past weekend.. Oh yes, another 40+ hours of OS over the weekend. We finished a little bit earlier this time around, at 1 AM Monday. Peter and I went to some Chinese place afterwards for our really late dinner. I can't believe any restaurants were open at 1 AM in Waterloo (besides the pizza place).

A new starbucks opened recently at King and University. I went there this morning, and it was good. I've become immune to Tim Horton's and William's I think, but Starbucks really woke me up this morning. I actually paid attention during stats, and I felt like doing homework (not that I did do homework =P). Too bad it's not near UW... boo to Laurier students who get Starbucks... BOO! >=(

Midterm Results

mood:
listening to: Jolin Tsai - Are You Happy?

Well, I'm done all my midterms now (except for one more term test for Stat 332.. but that's not really a midterm). The results are pretty good on average: 96% in SCI 206, 74% in CS 350, 85% in CS 370, and 86% on the first STAT 332 test. I'm still waiting to see how I did on my second STAT 332 test, as well as my midterm for STAT 331. I'm aiming for mid to high 80s average this term. So if I keep this up, I should be able to get that average.

School is so tiring. -_- I need a break.
