So the term has started...

This term is going pretty well so far. I'm pretty much on top of most of my courses. =)

I dropped stat 330 for 332 after the first lecture of 330. 332 is the course I wanted to take all along, but when I enrolled it wasn't listed, so I took 330 instead. But when I went to buy course notes, I noticed that 332 was listed there... so I checked Quest again, and sure enough, stat 332 was there! So I swapped 330 with 332. =P

So I haven't been doing too much in Waterloo. I spend a lot of my time watching Family Guy. Lol. I went out to dinner with Peter and Sharon last night, after our CS 370 tutorial. We just got caught up on stuff. The owner of Mr. Sushi sold that store and opened Charlie's Lunch Box O_O. He's very nice.

I went to Conestoga Mall with Ams today after all my classes. She bought a hamster, and it is male. She hasn't named it yet, so I dunno what to call it. =P It's quite cute though.

Water Water Water... Loo Loo Loo

You know that loo means the toilet? O_o

Anyh00t, I've been back in Waterloo since Wednesday. My work at Cube Route ended just a little over a week ago, but it seems like forever.

So what have I been up to? Let's see... Well, I went to see the bunnies on Wednesday, and ate at Mirage with Ams, Joyce, and Kriselle. I've been watching Family Guy in my residence (some guy had it shared on the network). Thursday I went to buy textbooks with Ams, yeah...

Yesterday was Ams' birthday, so I went over in the afternoon and we hung out. Went to uptown Waterloo, and got some drinks from LCBO =P. Bought dinner from some new Chinese place in the plaza, and watched Bend It Like Beckham.

So yeah... I'm looking forward to classes starting on Monday. I want to see who are all in my classes =). I'm not so much looking forward to the work load this term though, especially Operating Systems -_-; Savvy?

Joyce is in Waterloo

My dad, Joyce, Wally and I drove up to Waterloo this morning to help Joyce move into her residence. We left at around 8:20 AM and got there around 9 AM. There weren't too many people when we got there, so we got to move things up to her room pretty quickly.

At first we moved the stuff on the right side of the double room. We had to move the desk around a bit to accomodate for the mini-fridge that Joyce brought to her room. Then my dad noted that the new arrangement makes working at the desk a bit awkward since the chair cannot come out all the way due to the bed blocking it. So then my dad said that we should move to the left side of the room since the drowers on the desk will be towards the wall, thus the chair would not be blocked by the chair. So we moved everything to the other side.

Then, after everything was unpacked, I tried calling Joyce's phone to make sure it's working. It didn't ring. Then we realized that Joyce was assigned to the right side, and the phone works when it plugs into the jack there. So we had to move everything back to the right side. >_>

So that was pretty fun... argh, I hate moving. I gotta move back on Wednesday. >_>

Work Term Finished

Yesterday was my last day of the work term. I got an outstanding on my work term evaluation, which is the highest ranking that can be receive ^_^. My manager wants me to return for another term, but I think I want to try working somewhere else for the next co-op term (maybe in Seattle?). Going back to Cube Route for my last co-op term is definitely a possibility though.

After work I met up with Grace at Eglinton, for the last time. We took the subway to Yorkdale Mall to meet up with Joyce and Ams, for dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Grace and I got there pretty early, so we went around the mall. It's a really nice mall, and almost all the stores are ones I would shop in! At a little before 7 PM, Joyce and Ams got to the mall and we went in for dinner. I ordered gin&tonic, and apparently everyone else though it was nasty O_o. We had calamary for appetizer while we waited for our main dishes, and Wally. I got some really tasty ribs.. woo, it was good. =P After dinner we all went home and called it a night. Ams stayed over at my place for the night.

Today, Ams, Joyce and I went to Square One for some shopping. I was going to get my health card done, but I forgot to bring the documents needed. Ams bought some new shirts, I think two are for Anup. And we ate Subway for lunch... mmm.

Ams joined my family for dinner. We had some ice wine to go with dinner. =D Then she went home =(... but I'll see her next week in Waterloo. hehe

I got some stuff from Shoppers that I will be needing in Waterloo.
