Stat 231 is Crazy!

I seriously can't understand how stat 231 can have so much work. Every week we alternate between an assignment, and a lab. Then we have 2 quizzes throughout the term. There is always something due for stats... haha. A very hard lab coming up after the reading week for stats... >_>

I got my CS 341 midterm back on Monday. I got 79%, which kinda sucks cuz it's so close to 80%! So right now I have 83 on CS 360 midterm, 79 for CS 341, 79 for stat 231... calc I'm hoping that I got a high mark.. and business is the Saturday after reading week. Yes, Saturday!

This term isn't going all that great for me... I was hoping to get higher marks, but what can you do? Maybe if I do well on my finals I can pull my marks up higher.

Almost Reading Days!

Only 2 more days til my reading days break!

The weekend was fun. Grace came up on Saturday, so I went to dinner with her and her friends, as well as Ams and Peter. We went to Mel's Diner... I got fish and chips. And that's pretty much it with that.. haha

On Sunday I went to church as usual... and for dinner, me and Ams went to get KFC. We got some for Maki too... and yeah... Watched some Ranma, then I came back to watch the All-Star game.

I ended up doing no work over the weekend. But I did have a lot of rest, so I can get through the 3 days of classes this week.... then I'm going back to Sauga!!

It Really Doesn't End

To sum up the last 3-4 weeks: assignment, midterm, assignment, midterm, quiz, lab, assignment, midterm....

It's so bad this term that I can't remember anything I did longer than 3 days ago! I don't remember what midterms I wrote last week... what assignments I did last week... !!! All I know is that I have a crap-load of work this week, which includes the collective bargaining report due on Friday, calc assignment due on Friday, and CS 341 midterm on Thursday.

Oh, and my calc midterm went okay... I'm not gonna say I did great cuz I might jinx it. I left an hour earlier cuz I finished everything and checked them over (sorta). I just got back from a business meeting. We were working on the report that's due Friday.... and we're not done yet, so we have to meet again tomorrow. I've been doing work non-stop today... so tired...

Here's the summary for today: business lec at 10-11:30 AM, lunch + preparation for stats lab until 12:30 PM, stats lab from 12:30-2:30 PM, study for calc midterm until 4:30 PM, calc midterm from 4:30-5:30 PM (I left one hour earlier), dinner until 6:30 PM, business meeting from 7-10:00 PM. >_>

Valetine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day! And nothing better than spending it studying for midterms. hahaha ^^;.

The good news is that I got my CS 360 midterm back, and I did a lot better than I thought I did. I got 50.5 out of 60, which is about 84% (mental calculation! =P). Overall everyone did pretty bad, and I've heard that the profs might be pushing the marks up... if they don't I'm okay with that.. but if they do! Hello! >=D

I didn't get my CS 341 assignment back yet, but the mark is up on the website... and I got 83%, which is not bad... I know I didn't do so hot on assignment 2 though >_>;.

Calc midterm tomorrow.... and I'm feeling pretty confident. But I have to make sure I'm not overconfident... that's usually how I end up doing bad on an exam. So I'll just go over some practice questions, and make sure I have no problem doing them... at that point I should be good to go!

Ams is at class right now... hopefully we'll be able to spend an hour or so doing something for Valentine's Day... maybe we should go for coffee. I might need coffee tonight to study. =S

A Brief Break from the Insanity

I just had probably the worst week in my academic career. By worst I mean work-load-wise.

I can't remember what I was doing Monday anymore @_@... but on Tuesday I pretty much spent the day studying for CS 360... Wednesday night I wrote the CS 360 midterm... came back home and had to start on CS 341 assignment, which took quite a while to finish. I was so tired on Thursday, but I couldn't get any rest still cuz I had to finish my case study, which was due on Friday.... Friday was pretty nice.. finally get to have a break from all the craziness.

I went over to Ams' around 5 PM. We went out for dinner at the Pho place that we went to for our first date. That was really nice ^_^. And we got some bbt afterwards... I went for lychee with lychee jellies... but I like milk-tea better... gotta get that next time! We watched Ranma episodes back at Ams' place... and then some Fuushigi Yugi with her roomates. I stayed over for the night since it was pretty late.

I was at Ams' pretty much the whole day.... just being lazy and stuff. lol. Went to dinner at some Chinese place, and I was gonna get some bbt before I came home... but I didn't feel like going to the place, so I just came straight home.

Tomorrow I gotta spend quite a bit of time studying for my calc midter, which is on Tuesday.

Oh, and apparently everyone did bad on the CS 360 midterm... which is good news, cuz now they're gonna push everyone's marks up! hurray! =D

So much worked has piled up! I'm studying for my CS 360 midterm tomorrow night... and I also have a CS 341 assignment due on Thursday. On top of that, I have my individual case study for my business course due on Friday. *sigh* It never seems to end does it?

Well, after next week I will have done 3 midterms, with only 1 more to go (business is in march).... calc and algo midterms next week, not really looking forward to that >_>;. I guess I should get some studying done over the weekend.

Longest Day Ever!

I woke up at 7:30 AM in order to get on the UW campus for my job interview at 9:00 AM. I almost wore my running shoes with my suit.... then I realized something was wrong... I was wearing the wrong shoes! lol. It was quite a walk to UW in dress shoes.

After the interview I had to get on the WLU campus for my business class. Then I'm back at UW with Peter, doing some preparations for our stats lab. The stats lab was 2 hours. But let me tell you that two hours is short when you're scrambling to finish a lab! haha... we finished 5 mins before the end of lab time. After the lab it was back on the WLU campus for a business meeting, which took 2.5 hours.

I went to the Navigators after the meeting... it started at 5:30 PM, but me and Peter got there at around 6 PM (we had to walk over from WLU). It was pretty good.... they were listening to a sermon on a tape. It talking how our relationships with people is an imperfect picture of our relationship with God... and other things.

After Navs I went over to Ams' place. She wanted to see me in a suit, so yeah. I bought her raspberry black tea, and picked up a taro milk tea with pearls for myself... heehee! We cooked some dumplings, and ate that while watching some TV. I watched Smallville at 8... I forgot about that show! Gotta watch it regularly from now on. hoho ^0^. Me and Ams spent some time talking and stuff.... it was nice, and time flew by so fast. It was around 10:30 PM when I left her place.... and here I am now!

My feet hurt from walking too much in my dress shoes >_<.
