I saw a hummer!
mood:
happy
listening to: Jay Chow & Landy - Rooftop
I was walking around campus today, and I saw a hummer driving on Ring Road! I took extra caution to not get hit by it.. haha.
Anyway, this week is looking to be just as busy as last week. I have an interview tomorrow at 9:00 AM, so I have to get up early >_>.
The weekend was unproductive as usual... but fun as usual. heh. I watched Phantom of the Opera with Ams, Ness and Ryan... now I can't get that song outta my head!
I went to the Embassy tonight.... afterwards we went over to Ams and Ness' and all ate some ice cream, while watching TV.
I realized how random this entry may seem to be... um, no comment on that O_o. I leave you with this quote from my CS 360 prof: [after writing some equations on the board with Greek alphabets] "If you ever to go Greece you'll be able to read the signs... sigma, delta, pi... you've seen them all. It's all written in Math."

"Miss You"
mood:
happy
listening to: S.H.E - Heavy Rainfall
I was home for the weekend. I got a ride back with Peter, and Ams came along too... she stayed over at my place for the weekend.
We went to James' birthday dinner at Canyon Creek, in Toronto. I had a really fun time... the cake was funny... "Miss You" haha... genius! =P
So now I'm back in loo.... assignments are starting to pile up. And I mean really pile up! What sucks the most though, is that I don't have as much time to play WoW anymore. T_T

School is hard man!
mood:
overworked
listening to: S.H.E - Bing Xiang
I had a stats lab this past Tuesday. It didn't go too well. I didn't think it would take so long to drop ball bearings through a funnel and record data... but yeah, it was way too long. My group ended up only answering 17 out of 21 questions. Not a good way to start off in the course. But like I always say, I'll do better next time... hahaha.
I was finishing up the CS 360 assignment last night. It wasn't that hard... a bunch of proofs and stuff. What was hard though was trying to find where to drop off the stupid assignment. Me and Peter went to the MC after our business class this morning. The only instruction that the instructors gave us was to dropped off the assignment in the bins on the 3rd floor of MC. So we walked all around the 3rd floor... and we bumped into Sharon, who was also looking for the bins. Then I remembered that I saw bins around one of the corners of the floor in previous terms. So we went to check, and there they were! haha
Today I have to finish reading 40+ pages in the business lab manual... finish a few income statement questions. Next week I have stats assignment due on Tuesday, calc and CS 341 assignment due on Thursday, and I have to prepare for a collective bargaining simulation on Friday, for business. So yeah, it's not gonna be pretty.... but when is it ever?
Oh, and I got an interview with Peel Board of Education. It's a web dev job... but it's Peel Board, so the pay probably isn't great. This term my goal is to get at least $16 an hour.

Home for the weekend
mood:
happy
listening to: Gackt - Last Song
I went home for the weekend. I originally planned to stay, but then Ams told me she was going home on Friday and asked if I wanted to go... I was gonna stay, but then I remembered I needed to bring a few items (eg. garbage bin, trench coat, ...), so I decided to go back.
I didn't get much work done... again! My mom said to me, "If you weren't gonna do any work, why did you bring all these books back?" >_<; Everytime I go home I bring a bunch of books, in hopes that I would actually study.... but every single time I end up slacking off. I know it's bad... I guess I'll just have to catch up on everything tomorrow.
Oh, and I got some more food supplies from home. hehehe... I also got a case of spring water, which is nice cuz you don't wanna drink water from the tap in Waterloo!
I feel bad to leave Waterloo on such a short notice... Don't worry Peter, we'll play some ball on Wednesday =D... and I got the cds for you *wink wink*.

Second Week of School
mood:
listening to: nothing
I'm already behind in school, and it's only the second week! Well, not exactly that behind.... just not staying on top of things =P.
I'm starting to think taking BUS 121 might be a mistake... looks like a lot of work from that course. It's not even one of my core courses, so I don't want to have to spend too much time on it. Calc 3 will be my bird course for this term... believe it or not.
It's nice to have a full term with me and Ams both in Waterloo. Gotta make sure I do my homework though.... play on weekends. =P

Classes and Stuff
mood:
sleepy
listening to: David Tao - Regular Friends
I finished my second day of classes today. I still haven't seen two of my profs cuz they were away for the first lectures or their respective courses. I have a super fobby Chinese prof for CS 341... hehe, just ask Peter =D. Vlad is in that class as well... also in my stats 231 class. Stats 231 will be like CS 251/241 all over again... Me, Peter and Vlad working on assignments... expect this time it IS group work =P. *cough*
I have someone I know in all my classes this term, which is nice. I've seen most ppl back on campus now... I think. Even... *cough* Jenny *cough*... for those of us who went to CPSS =_o.
I bought the textbook for CS 360. It was $144. It's all black and white, and on crappy paper.... not even that big of a textbook. Why is it $144? Oh well... at least that was the only textbook I had to buy this term ^0^.
I've been falling asleep in my classes... not a good sign... *sigh* Not my fault they're so damn boring!

Back in Waterloo!
mood:
happy
listening to: A-mei - Rush
I spent New Year's eve in Toronto. Me, Ams, Francy, James and Mike went to eat sushi... all you can eat! Didn't eat as much this time... still so good. We watched an Eddie Murphy movie back at James and Francy's... "Coming to America" or something. Pretty funny... and we missed the countdown too. Oh well... countdown is overrated =P.
On Sunday I saw Thereas and Henry, and their baby-boy Caleb. He is cute ^_^. So that was pretty nice... haven't seen them for a long time!
I'm back in Waterloo right now. School is starting tomorrow >_>, yay. I still have to get all my books and stuff... revise my work report and all that jazz. Isn't it good to be back in school?
[edit: Jan 5th, 12:33 AM]I meant Peter, not Ams... oops o_o;[/edit]
