listening to: Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down
Quote of the day:
oobey: my school year is off to a great start
oobey: I was in the back of my physics auditorium, trying not to fall completely asleep. The professor asks a question about what method we use when doing math in science, so to pretend like I'm not falling alseep, I shout out "sig figs"
oobey: I then open my eyes and realize the prof is currently talking about vectors and scalars, so the question was dreamed, but the answer was not, and the entire class has come to a complete stop now
oobey: at this point I'm at a loss as to what to do, so I pick up my bag and walk out without saying another word

listening to: Yellowcard - Way Away
I went over to Shoppers today, and they didn't sell any bug spray O_o. So to make my trip worthwhile, I bought swiffer to clean the house (especially my room). I got home a little after 5 pm. I swiffered [did I just make that word up? =P] my room with the wet swiffer sheets, then the dry one... yes, I gave it a good cleaning =D. I also cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom. So now I can actually step on my bedroom floor without my feet getting dirty.
On another note, I can't believe the Inuyasha anime ended. It didn't even have a proper ending! I woulda been happy if they had just made up some ending where Inuyasha [or more preferrably Sesshoumaru] kills Naraku. Yes I know it'll be different from the manga, but who gives a damn, all I want is some closure. Closure!! O_O! Ahem... the producer of Inuyasha said they will continue the anime series on some other medium (eg. OVA, straight to video series, etc), but that probably won't happen until the 4th IY movie comes out later this year >_>.
Oh, and yesterday Peter and I were playing AT on wc3 bnet. We played two games, and won both. I thought we were gonna lose the second game cuz that team has two level 20 players, compared to level 7 that Peter and I were on. We did manage to beat them without much problem though... So all together we are 4-0 =). We pwn ALL!!!!!!!!

listening to: Delirious - Majesty (Here I Am)
Last night, I saw the biggiest and creepiest bug I have ever seen! >_< I did some search on the Internet and found out it was a house centipede. The one I saw was about 1.5 inches long, and has so many long legs..... >_<; So I think I will drop by Shoppers tomorrow after work to pick up some insect spray to get rid of these suckers. ALthough I've read they're not harmful, and they actually help you get rid of all the other bugs (eg. roaches, spiders, ants, etc.)... but seriously, I'd rather have any of those bugs than stupid house centipedes! The good thing is that they are easily scared, so they usually don't come out. But when they do come out, watch out! They run so fast it's scary. Anyway, enough about that =P.
Me and Ams figured that if we chat on MSN but use Yahoo for webcam it works pretty well. Although the refresh rate isn't as high as in MSN, but this way it doesn't eat up so much bandwidth and screw up.
I just realized that I am going home in less than 2 weeks. Hmm... time went by pretty fast. I gotta go pick up some greyhound tickets, but I have to ask my dad if he is picking me up or not... if not, is he going to drive me back, etc. And I still gotta figure out how to get to the greyhound station. That should be too hard since I have Internet now.

listening to: Laruku - Butterfly's Sleep
So I finally got my Internet! Woohoo! =D It was setup up yesterday, and I had to walk to the post office to pick up the modem.
Now I shall recap everything that's happened since I came to Ottawa... this will take a while....
I arrive in Ottawa on the 11th (that's a Saturday). Went around with my parents. Ate at my aunt and uncle's restaurant for free. heh. Got my keys, and settled in. That night there was a black out at my block, and I was freaked out cuz I was watching a Ranma episode with ghosts... well, turns out it wasn't a real ghost, but yeah. =S
I started work on Tuesday... basically my manager called me on Monday and said I got my security clearance and can start anytime. Seeing how I had nothing better to do, I started the next day. hahaha. The rest of the week basically involved me working from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and then spend some hours after work wandering around the streets of downtown Ottawa (ocassionally getting lost). I also figured out different ways to get to China town from downtown.
I've been to two churches here... both Chinese churches... they were alright, I think I'll stick with the Alliance church. And that's pretty much my church hopping adventure. lol... ok, not much of an adventure.
Last Friday, I went to a bar with Nikin (a friend from high school). We had a pitcher of beer, and then went to some music show. It was pretty cool until this gay band came up, and Nikin was like "Oh man, I didn't know that was gonna happen." lol... and we left for the market... yeah... tried to get a beaver tail, but the shop was closed. And I still haven't had it up til now. Don't worry, I'll get to it sometime.
My family visited me on Saturday, and they stayed over until Sunday. I took Grace and Joyce around downtown Ottawa. It's a very nice place... gotta take Ams around when she comes up.
Um, I dunno what else there is to blog about.... I'm enjoying Ottawa so far. I've met some cool people at work. So I'll end with that. =P

listening to: Nothing
It looks like I won't have Internet for another while... T_T. I called Bell today to move my phone line to another one in the house, cuz the other one wasn't the right one. And now I still gotta wait for the Sympatico package. My family came up during the weekend. It was fun... well, I'll blog more about it when I get Internet setup.

listening to: Nothing
I'm finally using the Internet! haha... I'm at work, so yeah.
I'm getting Sympatico setup at my place next Monday... er.... so long without Internet. T_T @_@
Ottawa is pretty fun+cool. I'll say more when I get web setup at home.

listening to: Matthew Good - In A World Called Catastrophe
Well, I'm going to Ottawa tomrorow morning. It still feels a bit unreal. The bad part about going there is that I won't have Internet for a few days. I still need to order high-speed service from Rogers. But my parents didn't even ask for the address of the place I'm staying at.... so yeah... I guess I will have to do all that tomorrow.

listening to: The Killers - Somebody Told Me
It's Ams' b-day today! ^_^ She's 20 now... hahaha.
So on Tuesday I got eyes checked. I have perfected 20/20 vision. Woohoo! =D... and that's pretty much it for that day. On Wednesday I went shopping with Grace and my mom. I got a new jacket, new running shoes and boots, new pants and shirt.
Today I went to Waterloo with Ams and Josh. I saw her new place, it's nice. I helped her put her computer desk together. Next time I put anything together, remind me to get power tools. lol =P. Oh, and I gave Ams a webcam for her b-day... now I can see her when I'm in Ottawa. ^_^
Talking about Ottawa. I can't believe I'm gonna be going there this coming Saturday! I'm excited and scared. But hey, at least I found out a friend from my high school is going to school there now. I won't start work for at least a week while I'm in Ottawa cuz the people still have to do the security check... taking a while ne? But anyway, I'm sure I'll like Ottawa. =)

listening to: Our Lady Peace - All For You
As funny as it seems, I think it's weird when I don't spams. Don't get me wrong though, I don't like spams anymore than the next guy.... Perhaps I've gotten so used to getting them. So much so that it's like something is wrong when I don't.
Talking about spams. My gmail account is starting to collect some spams too. Hurray? I guess I shouldn't put my e-mail address on this site since people probably have harvested it here.

listening to: Evanescence - My Immortal
Peter, Phil, and Rob came over to my house last night at around 8 PM to play some games. Mo came a little bit later. We went to eat ice cream afterwards at Dairy Cream. Yes, Dairy Cream NOT Dairy Queen. hehehe
Phil was hungry so we all went to eat Carribean. We had jerked pork with fried rice and honey garlic chicken wings. Hmmm. ^_^ Rob and I weren't really hungry, but the food made us hungry. haha
So I didn't get to talk to Ams yesterday, cuz she was tired earlier in the day, so she took a nap. And I had to go out during the night. Too bad. =(

listening to: Dashboard Confessional - Vindicated
I got a webcam ^.^! So now I can do video chats with people... like Ams. heehee =_o
Yesterday, me and a bunch of friends went downtown to eat all-you-can-eat sushi. Ams was there too. Before dinner, Francy, Tina, Ams and I went shopping for a while. I got a new cologne, and I like it. hah!
There were 13 people all-together last night eating sushi. Phil, Steve, and Mo were keeping track of how many sushis they eat. Mo didn't eat too much, and he got really sleepy. lol... Phil, Steve and I probably ate the most. Actually, scratch that probably.. we DID eat the most. hahaha. I ate so much my stomache was round. O_o
We also stopped by James' place, as well as Steve's place.... I wanna get a place downtown when I graduate.
[edit at 7:53 PM]It was 16 people, not 13... heh... thanks Francy! =P[/edit]
