I was at Marvin's bday party earlier... me and Peter got a drive down to Sauga with Jayne sometime around 3 PM. We were the first ones there... the other people didn't show up until 6 PM or something. haha

It was really fun. I also got to see some people I haven't seen since our high school formal... yeah, woah... Oh, and the present we gave to Marvin was funny. We bought him a Tim Duncan jersey, cuz that's his favourite NBA player, but we taped "Mr. Boring" to the back... haha. Steve also made a card for Marvin with Marvin's head in place of Tim's and "Mr. Boring" added as subtitled. Well, I guess you just have to be there to think it's funny.. =P

Street Fighter 3rd Strike is awesome.. too bad I only got to play three rounds... me, Peter and Jayne had to leave earlier (around 10:45 PM) cuz we all had projects to do.

We had really good food at the party. Marvin's parents cooked soul food.... mmmm, spicy... hehehe. His mom also packed a lot of food for people who are living away for uni. So I have lots of food to last me for a few days. =)

Go back to Waterloo around 11:30 PM. I have been working on the project since then. Everything is implemented now... well, at least the stuff I was assigned to. It's been pretty good so far working on the project. My group members are awesome, and we communicate well so I haven't really had too much trouble doing anything. I just gotta do lots of unit testing tomorrow, and hopefully we'll have the game up and running before the end of the day.

I don't think I'll be blogging too much until finals are over. I'm starting to feel the pressure... er... well, I've been feeling it pretty much since midterms ended; and especially in the past 2-3 weeks. Assignments, assignments, assignments. The life of a CS student. [ok, so the engineers probably have it just as bad... but who cares]

And there are also other things.. yeah.. co-op for example.... @_@ I know I'll get through all of these eventually, but since it's not over with yet I'm pretty stressed.

It's a little bit less stressing now. I don't think the workload is lighter, maybe I'm just getting used to it. hahaha

My critical thinking class (PHIL 145) is officially over now. We have a review lec this coming Thursday, which I will attend. The last lec is cancelled cuz my prof is leaving UW to work at UofEdmonton. I guess it's a lucky break for me, now I only have 4 courses. =P Oh, and I did pretty well on the term test for that course. I probably made some stupid mistake somewhere, but whatever. If I can get 80 something I'd be okay with that mark.... 90s would be preferrable though.

By the way, my instructor for stats keeps showing us examples with stats for smoking. He says how it's bad for you and all that... and then we learn that he himself smokes. So, um... you know how bad it is for you but you still do it? lol =P

Haha, this blog is turning into a weekly thing. =P I've been busy as usual... sometimes not THAT much work, but just mentally tired I guess. I dunno....work keeps piling up and they just won't end!

At least I still have my sanity, I think. And my marks aren't too shabby either. I got my 4th quiz back for stats... 90% again... what's with me and that mark? I can't get higher than that! Ah!!!! lol. My 5th and last stats quiz is next Wednesday... it won't count if I get lower than 80%, cuz only the 4 highest quizzes count, and my lowest so far (the only one I didn't get 90%, is an 80%). So I had this funny idea for the next quiz. I'd just go in, not write anything, and hand in the blank quiz just after the quiz starts. I thought abotu it, but it's pretty stupid actually. So I'll just stick to trying to get that 100%... which might be hard, cuz I heard this is the hardest quiz of the term. =S

It's a really busy week for me this week. I just finished a cs 240 assignment yesterday, which was pretty hard... so much coding! And I just finished writing my 4th stats quiz about an hour ago. I think I did well on the quiz, which is always nice. I've only slept 8.5 hours the last 48 hours. >_> Now I think I probably should have started on of these assignments earlier.

I saw Spiderman 2 on Saturday with Peter, Marvin, my sisters, Ams and Anup. It's pretty good, wasn't great. Went to Francy's house afterwars with Peter and Marvin... we bought Swiss Chalet, so that was our dinner. We talked for a while, looked at pictures, and just joked around. =)

I still have my pmath assignment to finish, as well as my cs 246 assignment. Both are due on Friday.... let's just hope I won't need to pull an all-nighter Thursday night. o_o;

Well, time for an update I guess.

My midterms have been over since last week... but don't think that means I'm having it easy right now.... haha >_>; I have a CS assignment due next Tuesday, Stats quiz on Wednesday, CS assignment due on Thursday, and pmath assignment due on Friday. O_O; Yes, I know that I will be quite dead next week.

The good thing is that I'm doing pretty well this term. That is, except for CS 240. I did well on all my assignments.... but.... on the midterm, I got slaughtered just like everyone else who wrote it. The prof actually admitted that it was the hardest midterm he's ever given to any classes before. Yeah, thanks. >_> But anyway, I got my third Stats quiz back today. I got a 90%, which it pretty good.... but I coulda gotten 100% if I had checked over my answers instead of leaving early. The mean, median and mode for quiz three was all 60%, so getting a 90% is good enough for me. And I got a congrads from my prof too... which is always nice. =P

I get my pmath midterm back this Friday... that is the reason why I'm not back home right now. I can't wait to see it, I hope I did well cuz it wasn't too hard.
