US Consumer Confidence for July fell to 76.6. Hmm.. guess US isn't facing a recovery anytime soon... not until their job market improves.

You gotta check this sign out: http://www.engrish.com/recent/source/notice.html. I wonder how those crazy Japanese people come up with such cool typos. lol XD ...Can't wait to get back home so I can listen to my Linkin Park CD. (at work right now)... also, the Anime Trucking forum is up and running again. If you're an anime/manga fan, be sure to join and chat.

listening to: Linkin Park - Nobody's Listening
mood: O.O

Finally got the new layout up! heehee... I think this the best layout I've had so far! And there's not a single use of tables in this document. Feel free to view my source code... and also the CSS stylesheet. Also feel free to "steal" any codes from this page... the best way to learn XHTML/CSS is to view examples on the Internet. So people should not try to hide their codes! (which is impossible when you use markup languages anyway) The only things I would ask you not to take are the images.

listening to: Linkin Park - Faint
mood: ^_^

I'm listening to Linkin Park's Meteora album. It's so wicked! I've already went through the entire album... and I love all the songs! Also watched the DVD that came with the album. I didn't know they put in so much effort into every single track. It's not a surprise though... their songs have so much depth, not your typical rockers! heh... I even love their remixes! I also bought Three Days Grace's album... haven't listened to much of it yet... I just know that I like their single, I Hate Everything About You. It was only $13 anyway... Oh, and I have a new layout in the works now. It was originally made for CSS Zen Garden... 'cause I wanted my work on there as well... But I really like this new layout, so I'm gonna keep it for myself. heh... The theme for the layout is: Nocturne Under The Moonlight. Look forward to it! =P

Check out this site: http://www.csszengarden.com/. It's a site featuring graphic artists who are designing kick-ass webpages using CSS. Maybe this will motivate you lazy bums to learn some CSS. hehe... j/k =P ..ahem ahem.. this post is mainly for myself, so that I won't forget the link later when I get home. I'm at work.

listening to: random songs I play in my head...
mood: =|

I need a new layout, I need a new layout. I'm getting so tired of this one.. how long have I had this one? hmm.. gotta read up on my old entries to find out. (that is, if I blogged it). Haven't really had the time to make another layout though. Usually takes a few hours. Just haven't had the time to do it yet... it will change before the summer ends though.... so watch out!

listening to: Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You
mood: -_-;

I accidently took a nap today.... damn.. that breaks my streak of not taking a nap. I haven't taken one all summer! That's nearly three months. I was so tired though... it's not just bcause of sleeping late last night... I think it accumulated over the summer. heh. Anyway, went to paintball yesterday. It was fun... but kinda sweaty and hurty. lol... well, didn't hurt that much, but have a few bruises. I still like laserquest better.... actually, I'd rather play a first-person shooter on the PC. lol XD ....went out to dinner and movies later for Andrew's b-day... well, it was days after his b-day... but yeah... Bad Boys 2 is a good movie. You go see it! hehe.... I'm pondering about which CDs to buy... Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, or Michelle Branch? I think I'll buy two outta the three.... hmmm.... or I might as well just buy all three ne? I'm still waiting for Gackt to release his new album... have to order it at yesasia.com... teehee! Not sure when he'll be releasing a new one though. Later this year hopefully?

mood: ^_^

I got paid today! hehe... so I'm probably gonna head to Shoppers and pick up some supplies. (ie. hair products... lol) Gonna check out that Couleure Experte thing from L'Oreal Paris.. seems cool. And I also need more conditioners and such... don't want to get split ends again. -_-; I'm considering getting colour contacts sometime this summer. No, I don't need contacts for vision correction... just 'cause I want to have a different eye colour. heh... maybe blue?

And yes, I listen to music at work.. actually, the radio. 7 hours of Edge 102.1 every day! haha.. actually, I listen to it at home as well.. so that's more like, 8-10 hours of it.

listening to: The All-American Rejects - Swing, Swing
mood: -_-;

The Centres for Disease Control in the U.S. changed its SARS case definition Friday to mean that merely passing through Toronto and showing potential symptoms meant one should be considered a potential SARS patient. Stupid US.... they're way too paranoid about this whole thing. Are they trying to scare Americans even more? ...and I thought they wanted an economic recovery.

listening to: Every Little Thing - Free Walkin'
mood: -.-

I've been so tired the whole day for some reason. Even though I've gotten the most sleep last night than I have had in weeks. Anyway, I was at Wayne and Grace's wedding today. It was great! They keep saying their names wrong... well, only twice to be exact.. but still... That is why you should get a pastor that knows you well to conduct your wedding. At the reception, they had these "banana buddies"... well, actually me, Joyce and Tina named them that ourselves. hehe.. they were these bananas with faces on them. So cute! hahaha.... and there were a lot of balloons. so fun man! James lost his one the way back when Francy opened the car window. They just flew straight out the window. lol. I would have to say that was probably one of the best wedding receptions I've gone to. And I got to see a lot of people that I haven't seen in years! Then there was the youth fellowship afterwards. I'm so beat now, and should probably sleep soon. I still haven't gotten things that I wanted to do over the weekend done yet... It's been kinda busy.... but tomorrow I'll be free, so I can relax.

listening to: Claude Debussy - Claire de Lune
mood: ^_^

Just got home from fellowship... well, actually.. got home like an hour ago. haha. It was good. We did a book study on 2 Peter. It's talking about how Christians should always be adding more faith and knowledge... and godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Also goes on to warn people about false teachers and prophets, and how most Christians will be lead astray by them. It's so true... sad, but true. You just don't find that many Christians who are very serious about their, and go about it half-assedly. (is that a word? O_o) On a completely different note... I received a letter from the Math Faculty at Waterloo... I'm being kicked out of CS!... haha... j/k j/k XD.. I received an invitation to apply for a TA job next term. I guess I should apply, maybe I will get the job. It's only $500 per term, but at least it's better than nothing! And plus, if I'm considering to become a professor in the future, this is a good way for me to see if I will enjoy this kind of work.

First day of work was okay... wasn't very much to do 'cause my supervisor is on vacation this week. A lot of people are taking summer school... and I mean highschool summer school. What do people hate math so much? You don't hear as much complaints about English, Chemistry or whatnot. You people hate math?! Well, you suck!! boo!.. haha. differentiation, integration, taylor series, big O, matrices, permutations and combinations.... you gotta love them! XD
