Well, I got the job! I start working this Wednesday.... finally man! After 2 months.. hehe. I actually got an e-mail from co-op asking if I was interested in this other opportunity.... guess they're not THAT useless afterall. lol. Don't know if this job will count towards a co-op credit though, seeing how I'm only working for 8 weeks. I will give my co-ordinator a call though.... but it's not like I really care about that credit, I only need 5 to graduate anyways. The experience will definitely help my career.. especially since my position at the agency is web specialist! hoho (^.^=)

I worked a bit on my portfolio today. Still not sure if I've put everything I need to put in it... I think I just need to select a few graphics sample to show in my portfolio now. You can view it online here.

It seems that Blogger upgraded their systems. It's all blue now... yay! blue! (._.) hoho (^.^=) ...I can't see any difference in terms of features though.

Never get the KFC crispy chicken!... if the person ask you if you want your chickens crispy just say, "No way in hell!" Haha.. yesterday me, Andrew and Peter were having some of those "tasty" chickens... felt so bad afterwards. -_- *shrugs*

I have a job interview next Monday. The problem is, I can't exactly remember what the job was that I applied to.... oops... hehehe. It was so long ago that I applied. I think it's a web specialist position. Pretty sure... imagine how stupid I'd look if I go in thinking that it's a web specialist position but it's not?! huhu. And I have to bring in a porfolio, so that might be a problem, 'cause I'm not too sure what position it is. Oh well... I'll just throw in a bit of everything. At least I know it's something to do with the Internet... either web developer, web designer, graphics designer, or web specialist....

All the news reporters are commenting on how this is a "great day for Canada" -- that homosexual marriages can only be good for the society. I beg to differ! I heard over and over again on CP24 that, "Love and commitment can't be bad." Ahem ahem... I believe in absolute truth.. and by which there are standards set by God. Whether or not you accept these standards does not make them irrelevant. I mean, if one day people start saying that 2+2=5, does it make that true? You can call me intolerant if you want.. but by doing that you're also intolerant of my views. The reality is, real tolerance is impossible. Everyone has a set of world views, thus they can't accept any other views that goes against theirs. It's pretty funny to read newspaper articles bashing Christians, saying how we're intolerant.. but are they not intolerant by not tolerating us? Those vicious hypocrites... hahaha.. too funny! XD

I'll never drink salt water again! ...hahaha. My throat was kinda itchy, so I remembered that a lot of people told me how they drank salt water when they were sick. Perhaps it was because my salt water was super-saturated... but it was nasty! I was gagging after drinking a few sips. x__x

I'm feeling much better now... I usually get over sickness pretty quickly... Anyway, I can't believe the Nets lost last night! Er... well.. actually, I had a feeling they'd lose. Whatever! I get to choose my courses in three days. I already planned it out... next term I will take: Linear Algebra 2, Combinatorics, Physics, and two CS courses. I was thinking about taking German 2... but I think I've got enough course loads from these five courses. It'll probably be better if I just take a distant education course during one of my co-op terms to make up for the dropped course from 1 term. hehe.... My grampa is coming to Canada tonight.... perhaps I can learn Japanese from him this summer, since I can't take it next term. hehe

Man, I feel really sick.... I dunno how I got sick. I hate being sick 'cause it keeps me back from doing things I want to be doing! And I missed fellowship today at John's because I felt sick. What's more annoying is that the Nets lost to Spurs! no!! You were 'sposed to bury those Suprs! *directing towards the Nets* ...ah well, I guess my prediction was right, and Spurs will go on to win the championship... but I really wish they wouldn't. *crosses fingers* C'mon Nets!

I finished reading Fermat's Enigma. It's the first time that I actually finished a novel in less than a week... three days to be exact. Never before have I read something that captured so much of my attention. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read a fascinating, intelluctual, and romantic story.

listening to: Final Fantasy VI - Terra's Theme (piano)
mood: :|

I'm reading this book called Fermat's Enigma by Simon Singh. It tells the story of various mathematicians and how they contributed to the greatest problem of all time - Fermat's Last Theorem. It starts with the Ancient Greek, with Hypocratus and Euclid, eventually moves on to France and Fermat, then t othe lives of many around the world. It makes me appreciate math even more now... I used to think that pure math is just some useless branch of math and not worth examining. Now, however, that view has changed. I'm thinking that perhaps becoming a professor would be an option I'm looking into right now... so I can do research and such. I am intrigued by the logics and conciseness of mathematics.

An astronomer, a physicist, and a mathematician (it is said) were holidaying in Scotland. Glancing from a train window, they observed a black sheep in the middle of a field. "How interesing," observed the astronomer, "all Scottish sheep are black!" To which the physicist responded, "No, no! Some Scottish sheep are black!" The mathematician gazed heavenward in supplication, and then intoned, "In Scotland there exists at least one field, containing at least one sheep, at least one side of which is black."

Archimedes will be remebered when Aeschylus is forgotten, because languages die and mathematical ideas do not. "Immortality" may be a silly word, but probably a mathematician has the best chance of whatever it may mean.

Infusium is the best! Now my hair is healthy again, and ready for another bleaching and/or dying. [end advertisement >_>] hehe... I'm thinking dark purple, but I'm not sure how good it'll look. Anyway, I want to wait until my hair is longer before I dye it again.

Well, I did some thinking... and although most people probably think it's unfortunate I'm unable to find a job right now, I don't think that anymore. Of course it'll be really nice if I have a job for the summer because: 1) I won't fail my co-op term; 2) I can earn some money for my tuition and housing costs. However, I can think of a lot of things that I should really be focusing on accomplishing... and perhaps without a job this summer, I will be able to do them all. The first being my goal to finish the entire Bible... it might seem long, but I'm sure I can get a lot done this summer if I spend the time. Secondly, I want to learn the New Testament Greek inside-out (well, maybe not inside-out). Those are the two main goals for the summer... of course I have other goals, but aren't as important... like learning the Katakana chart for Japanese, improving my German, and learning more web development tools.... oh yeah, and I really need to finish this book I bought called "Fermat's Dilemma" (ooo... how mathie! O.O!) hehe.... well, that's it for now.... *starts a new game of Spider Solitaire* =P

Naruto is so cool! You gotta check it out if you haven't seen it already. Toriyama's World is doing the fansubbing for it.... well, they did most of the episodes so far. It's by Toriyama, so the story moves a bit slow... kinda like Dragonball, but much much better. Actually, not as slow as Dragonball... Naruto is about ninjas, which automatically makes it good! hehe... no, I'm just kidding. Although it's not really new.. been out for almost a year in Japan now, I just recently got to watching it. There are 35 episodes available for downloading right now that I'm aware of... the fansubs are coming out quite fast actually... just a week after the episode airs in Japan! So go check it out if you like animes! It's fun and action-packed! sugoi ne? ne?

I get to pick courses for the fall term in 2 weeks! Why do I always get the late appointments? man..... I really want to take Japanese next term, but there are only 48 spots and 2 are already taken! I hope there will still be spots open when I get to choose courses. And I have to take lin alg again next term. I can't believe this! I'd rather take calc 3 next term, but it's recommended to take lin alg first, and calc 3 during the 3B term.
