Windows XP Hibernation Bug
mood:
listening to: Michael W. Smith - Ancient Words
My laptop has 2 gigs of RAM, and once in a while I get problems when I hibernate it. It would show the laptop trying to hibernate, but after a while Windows will load again with an icon in the system tray saying there was a problem during hibernation.
It's a really annoying bug because sometimes after I hit hibernation I would just walk away, or pack up my laptop in my bag... only to realize that it never turned off! If it's been sitting in my bag for a while, the laptop gets really hot, which is never good.
So today I ran a search for this issue in Google, and I found this page: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000555.html. There is a hotfix for this issue from Microsoft, but you can't download it from Windows Update. It's a good thing someone has uploaded it for others to download. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't just put it on their Windows update. O_o

mood:
listening to: Bada - V.I.P
Work is going pretty well so far. I'm going to start using the gym at the building where Cuberoute is located at once I get my first paycheque.
I listened to three lectures of PHIL 100. I'm kinda worried about the amount of material I will have to read for this course, but it doesn't sound like a very hard course at all. Time to skill up my BS! =P

Co-op starts
mood:
listening to: Jay Chou - Black Humor
I have finished my first week of the co-op term. It was nice to see some one the people that were there when I worked there last summer. The notebook that I used last summer was still there as well, and it has now been used by two other co-ops.
The school term starts tomorrow, which means I will have to start reading the materials for PHIL 100... I hope this course doesn't have too much work. =P

Update
mood:
listening to: nothing
I haven't blogged in a while. Not much has happened during my break. =P
I was Ams and her sister Anup came over last Wednesday for a sleepover. We played a lot of games on the Gamecube. I went back to Brampton with them. We watched movies and videos... bummed around.
Went to watch a Jays game with Ams and her friends, it was her friend's bday. The funny thing is that Francy was also there that day. She sat at the 200 level I think, and we were at 500. It was pretty cold that day, and I wore short sleeves. -_-;
Last night I went to Korean Grill House with Grace, Francy, Tina and Peter. It was very very good, and I ate so much meat! =D
Peter said that him and Marvin are going to take Mandarin lessons this term. Good luck. :P

Just Bumming Around
mood:
listening to: Jay Chou - Maple
I haven't done anything productive since I came home from Waterloo. Three weeks vacation rules! =D
Ams and her sister are coming over for a sleepover next week, so that should be fun. And I'm going to a Jays game with Ams for her friend's birthday.
BTW, if anyone likes text-based online RPGs, here's a cool game for ya: Monsters Game. I play it for 10 mins or so everyday... you don't really need to spend much time on it (well, you can't really).

Done
mood:
listening to: Nada Surf - Always Love
Boo-Ya! I am done! My finals were... um... ok I guess. Networks was pretty bad, but I'm pretty sure I passed it. :D
At least I ended with a good final, that is CM 361.
I am home now in Thornhill... just lazing around and stuff. Three weeks of break!
