What A Shitty Day
Author: Ams
This has been one of the worst days I’ve had in a while. The peas was the highlight of my day…that’s how fucked up the rest of the day was. Excuse my swearing, it has become a habit. But really, that’s the only way to describe it.
- The internet wouldn’t work this morning
- Got overcharged at the grocery store and didn’t realize until I got home
- Almost broke my back walking home with all my food
- Got pissed on by peas & had to clean it up
- Had to battle with a useless dollar store can opener (another bright decision by my roommate)
- Went to attend a fellowship group for the first time and nobody was there
- Marked a shitload of assignments…and remarked another shitload of them
- Fought with Jack because he’s being an insensitive jerk
This day bites! I either need a drink or need to go to bed. Hamster kisses just isn’t cutting it.
[edit] Stupid Wordpress did not change the clock for Daylight Saving Time and posted this entry for the next day. Bastards. Let it be known that it is 11:35pm on Nov 7, 2007 right now. [/edit]

I don’t like peas. I don’t like the feeling of biting into them and having them explode in my mouth. It’s disgusting. And the taste isn’t very satisfying either. So I normally avoid eating peas and I suck it up when someone makes a dish with them in it. But today, I was attacked by peas. DAMN YOU PEAS!
I had just come back from grocery shopping (which killed my back) and decided to reorganize the freezer since there wasn’t any room for the things I bought. So I started moving things around and since my *bright* roommate does not tie up or close anything she uses in the freezer, her bag of frozen peas fell over and poured onto my like a sea of green goo. UGH! I don’t know what’s worse, the sight of peas in food or the sight of frozen peas EVERYWHERE around you. What a horrible experience. I was not happy to sweep it up.
I Guess It’s Just A Bean Jam Ball Month

What was today like?
1. 15-20 cm of snow on the ground
2. Most people have not shovelled their sidewalks
3. Roads are decent but still dangerous for skidding
4. Temperature is -15
5. Windchill is -27
6. Wind is 25 km/h
7. Gusts are 28 km/h
That’s right, we use the metric system. Look up the conversion yourself! So with all of this, does my lovely university have a snow day? Of course not, because our administration is made up of f***tards. I had to swim through snow and ice pellets to get on campus for one bloody class and risk my life because my asthma acts up in really cold weather which prevents me from breathing when I walk. As if suicide is the only thing universities have to worry about for the students’ health at this time of the year. MORONS! I’m so bitter it’s not even funny.
Just One Of Those Bean Jam Ball Weeks
Author: Ams
Today is one of those days where I really wanted a snow day. Actually, I would have liked a snow week. The weather has been pretty bad lately. The windchill is -29 (for my American readers, that’s…*looks at thermometer*…-20). Waterloo is at the edge of the snowbelt, or so I’m told, so we get hit pretty hard sometimes with snowsqualls and all that lovely death weather. The reason my school didn’t close was because SOME of the elementary schools still stayed open. Since the policy states that all Waterloo schools have to be cancelled for the university to be closed, we get SHAFTED! This day is so much worse than the last snow day we had. My asthma can’t take it. And it’s not like I can walk to campus to get the doctor to write that it’s not good for my asthma, because if I can survive walking there then I can survive walking to class. *sigh*
