Hotashi

BIG NEWS! I’m still unemployed T_T. I’ve applied to a few jobs and haven’t heard back from most of them. There were a couple that I really wanted because they were summer office positions, including one that was a human resources assistant. I really hope I can get that one. It just so happens that I know someone who works there, so hopefully that will give me an extra step towards getting the job. Please God, please.

As for this weekend, we are for sure going. Hooray! Apparently the waterpark we’re going to go to is attached to an amusement park. So I guess my sister and I will go off on our own for a bit and go on some rides. We are also going to be staying in a hotel on Saturday night, which is the first time my family has stayed in a hotel together since…we stayed in Jordan more than 15 years ago on a stop-over flight. That will be interesting. I hope my dad’s snoring won’t keep me up. But then again…I’ve been sleeping like a log these past few days. I have no idea why. I used to be such a light sleeper.

Last night my sister and I got into one of those moods and we started singing and dancing to Disney songs. That eventually led to us downloading Phantom of the Opera and The Sound of Music songs. I HAVE to get those soundtracks. They can never grow old. But yes, that was some fun times last night. Tokki got a little weirded out though and stayed under the bed for quite some time.
