Hotashi

I’m not sure what is wrong with Froggy. He’s been having the runs for over a week now. Initially I thought I had just fed him something that his stomach didn’t like, but this is too long for that. I haven’t changed anything in his diet, so it can’t be that. I thought maybe he wasn’t getting enough food (because I know that diarrhea is a symptom of starvation in humans) so I increased the amount of food I gave him, but that didn’t change anything. He’s been drinking a lot of water lately, which is probably the cause. But I don’t know why he’s been drinking so much water. Maybe the heating is making the room too dry? I’m not sure.

I looked it up online but accompanying these systems is a lethargic hamster, and well…Froggy is as crazy as ever. He’s super hyper at night and still follows me around when I walk in my room. Nothing has really changed with his personality behaviour. I only became concerned because he seems smaller. Does his body think it’s no longer winter? I feel sad. I hope he’s not suffering, although I doubt he is since he’s so lively. Anyway, if anyone knows anything that could be the matter please tell me.
